Check why a person is in your plan
Check the source, date, and plain match reason behind a person before you approve or continue your outreach plan.

Find the source
Open the selected person's details and find the source behind each important fact. The source may be an organization page, a public professional profile, or your selected work history.
The source should show where the detail came from. Check that it fits both the person and the business.
Check the date
Look for when the source was last checked. That date tells you how recent the visible information is. It does not promise that the source is unchanged today.
Pause when an important source is missing, old, unavailable, or different from the plan. Do not fill a gap with memory, a copied note, or a screenshot.
Read why this person fits
The match reason should connect your selected experience to this business and person. It should name what experience matters, why the person is relevant, and what still needs your judgment.
A useful reason is specific enough to check. It does not predict a reply or promise an outcome. Pause when the reason is vague, unrelated, or based on a detail you cannot verify.
Recover weak evidence
If the source does not support the reason, leave the person paused. Ask for the missing context or request a source review. Do not approve a plan that relies on an unexplained claim.
Keep support notes safe. Record the visible person or plan reference, the state you see, and the question that remains. Leave out private message text, credentials, tokens, and unnecessary personal details.
Continue only when the source is clear, the date is reasonable, and the reason fits the professional context. Compare it with the full plan before you choose the next step.
